DFWrite Nites

Event is free to join.

Online

Every third Wednesday of the month, 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Join us for Petrifying prompts!

Each DFWrite Nite, a different dark fiction writer will share a unique prompt to stimulate your creativity. The prompts will come in the form of different media: words, music, art, photos, and more.

We will spent the first few minutes checking in and saying hello, then we'll get into writing together. We encourage you to:

  • explore the darker side of your writing
  • take our creepy prompts and turn them into happy-ending fiction
  • work on your own work in progress

To join us,  simply sign up for our newsletter where we will share the Zoom link for the DFWrite Nites.

Writing circles don't have to be scary, even if the writing is.

Join members of the Federation of BC Writers Dark Fiction Writing Circle for an inspiring session about creating a writing circle that will last, or finding one that is the perfect fit for you and your work.  You can have it all–community, craft refinement and career development. They’ll guide you through important topics such as group structure, critique etiquette, communication, creating a safe space, and group goals and projects.

Whether you’re writing jump scares or love affairs, finding your circle can help take your stories to the next level.
