Dark Fiction Writing Circle Anthology
House at Weaver Point
When does a house stop being a home?
Created as a collaborative project by the Federation of BC Writers’s Dark Fiction circle, The House at Weaver Point is an anthology of location-based horror woven together by an isolated house on the BC coast.
A grumpy lighthouse keeper. A hopeful newlywed couple. A group of free spirits. A paranoid Y2K prepper. Over the course of a century, each new resident is overcome by their worst fears, and at the centre of the madness is an ever-present yellow spider ensnaring them in her perilous web.

House at weaver point
The anthology project
The anthology is compiled of delicate threads that have been woven together to create a tapestry that is stronger as a whole. Each group member has contributed a short story in the timeline of the house. One spider. Many characters entangled in her web. The stories exist as stand-alones, but each terrifying tale is better in the context of the others.
